"Khao Phing Kan is an island of striking limestone-karst formations in Phang Nga Bay, north-east of Phuket in southern Thailand. Immediately off its shore stands the dramatically narrow islet Ko Ta Pu (sometimes spelt “Tapu”, meaning “nail island”) which rises around 20 metres above the sea."
