Notes from My Journey
Stories, struggles, and breakthroughs from my pursuit of a life led by vision—not pressure.

This blog is more than a collection of stories—it is a space to share lessons, reflections, and truths that I have lived. From my roots in Ethiopia to my travels across six continents, from hardship to healing, every experience has taught me that life is not measured by what we accumulate, but by what we give.
Here, you will find personal reflections, stories of resilience, and teachings drawn from both my life and the wisdom of great thinkers. My goal is simple: to inspire hope, to encourage faith, and to remind us all that change begins with the choices we make today.
This blog will also serve as a platform to update you on the progress of my projects—especially the vision to build the Legacy of Hope Memorial Hospital, a symbol of healing and reconciliation for generations to come.
I invite you to read with an open heart, reflect on your own journey, and join me in the mission of turning pain into purpose and vision into action.

My stay in Indonesia was one of the most enriching experiences of my life. Surrounded by lush rainforests, mountains, and serene beaches, I felt an immediate connection to nature. The gentle sounds of waves in Bali, the green rice terraces of Ubud, and the breathtaking sunsets in Lombok made every day feel like a dream. I often spent hours exploring hidden trails, listening to birds, and watching monkeys leap from tree to tree. The warmth of the tropical air and the deep sense of calm I found in nature made me feel both peaceful and alive.
Beyond its natural beauty, Indonesia’s culture left a lasting impression on me. The people were kind, welcoming, and proud of their traditions — from colorful festivals and graceful dances to delicious local dishes like nasi goreng and satay. Every island seemed to tell its own story, filled with ancient temples, intricate art, and a sense of spirituality that touched my heart. Whether I was walking through traditional markets or watching the sunrise over Borobudur, I felt a deep appreciation for the beauty, harmony, and balance that define Indonesian life.

"Khao Phing Kan is an island of striking limestone-karst formations in Phang Nga Bay, north-east of Phuket in southern Thailand. Immediately off its shore stands the dramatically narrow islet Ko Ta Pu (sometimes spelt “Tapu”, meaning “nail island”) which rises around 20 metres above the sea."
